Social Fencing

European Veterans Fencing is committed to facilitating the best possible environment within Europe to increase participation, raise standards and grow Veterans Fencing as a friendly and competitive family.

The Social Fencing Initiative is fulfilling this objective by providing an incentive for Veteran Fencers to participate in less competitive events at remarkable places around Europe.

In 2025, Tomi Ginzery and the EVF successfully organized the now-traditional outdoor veterans competition and gathering in a truly picturesque setting, in the Bratislava Castle. For the first time, the event was held in two weapons: foil and épée.

Nearly 50 participants from 8 countries enjoyed an unforgettable experience.
